The general inference is that an intense anti-cyclone still covers Eastern Australia and the Tasman Sea, but a slight secondary depression is crossing the Dominion to-day. The forecast is for light to moderate and variable winds, but with southerlies again setting in to-night. The weather will be mainly fair to fine, but a few scattered showers are probable. Temperatures will be cold. Seas are moderate.
