KAPONGA CROQUET CLUB
COMPETITION MATCHES. RESULTS IN THREE EVENTS. Thursday was competition, day for members of the Kaponga Croquet Club and three events were decided. The attendance was not quite-up-to-usual owing to a number of counter atti actions, but an enjoyable afternoon was spent. Results were as follow: A golf. Mesdames Brewer and Dawson, a tie; B golf, Mrs Harper 1; ladder, Mrs Rothe 1. Playing at Ofcaiawa on Wednesday for the South Taranaki Croquet Council’s Buttons, Mr.s Evans (Kaponga) reached the finals. Mrs Thurston defaulted air her game in the C division at Eltliam.
