CRICKET BALL
Kakaramea Function Ou Tuesday eveuiug the Kakaramea Cricket Club, hold: its second annual ball. Music was supplied by Virisen’s Ambassadors Band and there were visitors from Stratford, Hawera, AVaverley, Patea, Alton and Hurleyville. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss J. Chamberlain and Mr J. AVilliamson and a Monte Carlo sweepstake won by- Mr J. Back and Miss T. McKenna. Extras were played by Miss 51. Hamlin. sJis Alix Morrison (Waverley) gave an exhibition of tap dancing. A competition, was won by Mr Fred 51cKenna. The Masters of Ceremonies for the evening were -Messrs K. Bourke and G. Oakley.
