On Wednesday evening of last neck Miss R. McNeill arranged a ping-pong competition and dance party' to swell the bine baby’s (funds. The function was held at Mrs P. O. Veale’s / residence, about 30 people' joining ;in the fun. Mrs Veale’s frock was of pastel blue /crepe -marocain, Miss McNeill’s frock being fashioned in wliite georgette. The floral decorations consisted of vase’s of flowers in warm autumn colours. . Winners of the competitions were Mrs Jones and Mr Rl‘ Gordon (ping-pong),' Miss P. Brown and Mr McDonald' (Eltham, Monte Carlo), and Mrs Allwright and Mr Snowsill.
