PROPOSED AUSTRALIAN TOUR
PERMISSION WITH-HELD (By Teleerapb—Press Association} WELLINGTON, To-day. Permission for a University fifteen to visit Australia during the vacation was with-held by the New Zealand Rugby Union, pending a discussion with the University Football Council. It is desired that the tour should not conflict with the New Zealand Rugby trials, and the proposed visit of a Maori team to Australia.
