ARRIVALS FROM SYDNEY (By Telegro.jm—Press Association,) AUCKLAND, To-day. The Wanganclla’s passengers from Sydney this morning included Sir H. Eldon” Mains, who retired from the Royal Navy in 1932 with the rank of Paymaster Rear-Admiral. He is visiting his son, who is a midshipman on the cruiser Sussex. Sir .Eldon’s war service included that of organising manager ! - of convoys to the Admiralty. Dr. H. Christie (Wanganui) and Dr. H. Wilson (Hastings) returned from the conference of surgeons at Melbourne. Canon Perry, St. Michael’s, Christchurch, returned from Sydney.
