The dates set down by the New Zealand Rugby Union for matches in June I to select the 1935 All Blacks were | objected, to at to-night’s meeting of the management committee of the Wellington union. It was held that the matches at Palmerston North on June 11 and at- Wellington on June 13 and 15 "were too close together and unfair to the North Island. The chairman, Mr J. Prendeville, remarked that trial fixtures should not. have been made by New Zealand union until the proposad dates had been considered by the provincial unions.
