COMMITTEE ACCEPTS OFFER. (Bp Telegrapn—Press Assooiauuu.) AUCKLAND, March 26. An offer from the fruit-growing industry through the Labour Department to provide families of relief workers, free of charge, with apples condemned on account of codlin moth was accepted by the Auckland Metropolitan Unemployment Relief Committee. Tlie chairman, Mr G. W. i.atchison. stated that apparently the offer contemplated that on 0 case shoo'd bo allotted to eacli family.
