HOTEL WORKERS’ WAGES
INCREASE OF 7j PER CENT. COMPLETE AGREEMENT REACHED. ‘ (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 22. The hearing of the licensed hotel workers’ dispute occupied four days before the Conciliation Council, and a complete agreement was reached, the terms of which are an increase of per cent, on the rates paid in 1932, which represents half the -‘'cuts” imposed on the 1932 rate. The provisions of the current award, including classification of workers, have been accepted with two alterations. The award will come into force on April 1 and continue for two years.
