Hai-vest thanksgiving services will be conducted to-morrow in the Hawera Baptist Church, Argyle Street. The preacher both morning and evening will be the Rev. John Ings. Pro-I duce of the field and .t’he garden will I be sold on the following Monday evening. At- the Hawera Methodist Church Mr F. (Bingev) Williams, of the “Down and Out Mission,” Auckland, himself a reclaimed opium smoker, will deliver addresses. both morning and evening. In the evening his subject will be “Modern Miracles.” The choir will sing “O for a closer walk with God,” Mrs G. Tozer being :the soloist.
