BETTER PRICES THAN EXPECTED QUALITY CATALOGUE OFFERED (By TeJegrxpfi—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, To-day. At the third wool sale 24,662 hales were offered for the first catalogue. Prices realised were better than expected, probably because the selection and quality had a greater appeal than recent sales. Half-breds proved suitable for the Continent, which had better limits and this partly accounted for the improved market. Merinos, compared with the last Dunedin sale, declined one penny, half-bred Jd, cross bred Jd. Top prices for the first catalogue were 14d .for six bales of merino combing and 13Jd for superfine half-bred binned.
