“PENSIONS FOP ALL.”

(To t]io Editor.) Sir.—Thank you for the kindly tribute given in your leader of the 7th inst, to the scheme for curing unemployment which I submitted to you, the Government, Hospital Boards and Chambers of Commerce five years ago. Of course, the idea of pensions for everybody is a very old one. Certain features of the scheme were original, and the general practicability, which T showed my suggestions to possess, still stand. Now that Ido not have to say “I told you so,” you having said “he told mo so,” I wonder if you would reprint the article I submitted and so open the way for an addition to same. I am, yours, etc.. ALFRED H. LARKMAN. In view of the revived interest in this subject, and its importance, we accede to our correspondent’s request and will reprint early next week his article of five years ago.—Ed. “Star.”
