FEES OF BELIEF WORKERS. EXPENSE OF MAORI PATIENTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, To-day. At the Hospital Board conference today a remit to set up a buying organisation was withdrawn, the meeting 'deciding to set up a committee to report on the proposal. yf Tauranga’s remit to sock financial assistance from the Native Department towards the expenses of Maori patients was agreed to, and the Unemployment Board was also to be asked to set aside sufficient money to pay the hospital fees of relief workers.
