New South Wales Rugby Union May Effect Alteration FORMER MOTION DEFEATED REQUISITION OP CLUBS (United rrese Association—By Electrio Telegraph Copyright). Received 3 p.m. to-day. SYDNEY, To-day. Further consideration will be given by the New South Wales Rugby Union to a proposal to revert to the former rule relating to kicking into touch. At the recent annual meeting of the union a motion was submitted by the management committee providing that when the hall is pitched into touch from a kick other than a penalty kick or a kick from within twenty-five yards of the kicker’s goal-line, it should he brought back into play at a spot on tlie touch-line opposite the place where it was kicked. This motion, which failed by one vote to gain the necessary two-thirds majority, will, on the requisition of a number of clubs, be reconsidered at a special meeting on March 20.
