DR. BUCK ON HOLIDAY

SHORT VISIT TO TAR ANAKI. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 4. Dr. Peter H. Buck and Mrs. Buck arrived this, morning and met by Mr. Balnea vis, secretary to the Minister of Native Affairs. He will spend about a month in New Zealand visiting Taranaki relatives before returning to Honolulu about April 6. Ho said the old theory and probability of the settlement of the Pacific to the east and north arising from feuds and overcrowding seemed to be borne out. The Society or Tahitian group .had been the hub and defeated branches went off to save their lives very often.
