Tho fields are as follow: — 12.30
Bazainc has shown pace at times, while Cloudy Bay is promising. Kaola ran well at Opunake and should be all the better for the race. A first-class performer over the jumps, Tudor should run well in this class. The two-year-olds Chief Lady and Hunting Scene have an advantage in the weights and should make their presence felt. Most of the others are unknown quantities. The favourites should be CHIEF LADY, HUNTING SCENE and' KAOLA. 1.15 SANDON HIGHWEIGHT HANDICAP Of £75. One mile and a distance

shown a liking to the course. Secrecy won at her last start and both Collodian and Debut are a speedy pair. Abbey Feale won on Saturday, but is hard to follow. Cup. Sanguine King is smart over this distance and is rapidly approaching his best. Royal Routine usually races well when fresh, while the recent form of Navaho has been good. Midian would be fancied if started here. Should Eulanut be anywhere near fit he will set a merry pace, for he is a classy galloper. Wasteland and Full Throttle can both run- out a good seven, while Hunting Lodge and Land Tax are always liable to surprise. The best backed “ may be FULL THROTTLE, SANGUINE KING and RULANUT. 5.0 —
