TRANSFERS' AND PROMOTIONS.

Constable .Tames Scarry, of .Moera, has been promoted to sergeant, and will be replaced at Moera by Constable J. J. Culeoty. Constable V. Cosgrove (Hunterville) has been made sergeant and transferred to Wellington. He will be succeeded at Hunterville by Constable W. J. Brown (Wellington). DETECTIVES TRANSFERRED. AUCKLAND, To-day. Detectives J. Walsh, of Wanganui, and A. B. Meiklejohn, of New Plymouth, have been promoted DetectiveSergeants and both transferred to Auckland.
