REVIEW OF PROSPECTS (By “Childers.”) Excellent fields are carded for all of the events at Franklin to-morrow, and the racing should be of a high standard. The win and place system of betting will be in use.

Miss Lu has been racing consistently of late and so has Emancipation, who however, would be suited by a longer journey. Tualicahe runs good races at times, but seems /'to be “iffy.” King Tut was third in his last two starts at Takapuna. The fapourites may be MISS LU and KING TUT.

Queen Nona lias shown promise at times and so lias Lady Diana, who ma) be in need of a race. High lea has been “ knocking” repeatedly of late, running well at Te Aroha. Eona Bay has a fair. turn pf pace. Three in demand should be HIGH TEA, LADY DIANA and QUEEN NONA.

The order of favouritism may be LIGHT COMEDY, ARMACOURT and EUDORACE.

Oil Parade is a consistent galloper and at a difference of two pounds should hold Hirst Lap safe. Sunny Downs is showing good form and so

is Barn Dance. None of the others look likely, and most support may come for ON PARADE, BARN DANCE- and •SUNNY' DOWNS.
