CHAMPION' OF CHAMPIONS. BUCHAN WINS SINGLES, The western division of the Taranaki champion of champions singles bowling event at Opunake was won by R. B. Buchan. The club champions competing were: Opunake, R. Buchan; Auroa, W. Bradford; Pihama, P. Tito; Kaponga, H. Tyack; Warea, G. Lewis; Okato, N. Andrews. The play resulted. First- round. —-Tyack 21 v. Andrews 17, Tito 21 v. Lewis IS, Buchan 21 v. Bradford 19. Second round.—Buclian 21 v. Lewis 9, Andrews 21 v. Bradford 20, Tyack 21 v. Tito 16. Third round.—Tito 21 v. Andrews 19, Buchan 21 v. Tyack 19. Fourth round, —Buchan (two-life) a bye, Tito 21 v. Tyack 13. Final.—Buchan 21 v. Tito 13.
