CONCERN OF CHURCHMEN BIBLE LEAGUE CONDEMNED In the course of a discussion at the annual conference of the Methodist Church statements were made that ir one square mile of Auckland theca were 12,000 children who knew nothing of Jesus Christ, and that there were a quarter of a million pagans in New Zealand. Mr L. Watson, of Oxford, Canterbuiy, said that exaggerated statements as to the number of children who wore not receiving religious instruction did harm to the work of the Bible-in-State-Schools League.
