Japanese whaling vessels which have been on an experimental expedition to the Antarctic called here for supplies on the homeward journey. Members of the expedition report that the trip was so satisfactory that a larger fleet will operate next season. A number of Norwegians accompanied the experimental expedition, which so benefited from their advice that it is intended that next season’s crews will be purely Japanese.
