FORGERY AND THEFT CHARGES TOTAL DEFALCATIONS £4545. (United Press Association—B7 Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 2 p.m. to-day. ADELAIDE, To-day. In. the Criminal Court, Francis Edmund Power, aged 49, a former manager of the State Bank at Barmers, *was sentenced to imprisonment for five years on each of five charges, the sentences to be concurrent. Power admitted forging cheques and stealing money belonging to the Crown. His total defalcations wore £4518.
