BOOKMAKING CHARGES
THREE FEILDING MEN PINED

Arising from charges of Scoping common gaming houses, three alleged, bookmakers appeared before Mr R. M. "Watson, S.M. Horace Somerville was fined £75, Thomas 'Clarke £SO and' Benjamin McGrath £3O with costs.
Somerville had previously offended. Mr Watson referred to the fact that a Supremo Court judge had drawn attention to the view that the continuation, of such charges should be a case for imprisonment. However, in view of defendant's good name a fine only would be imposed.
