SOUTH TARANAKI CRICKET
A AND B GRADE MATCHES. CLUB TEAMS SELECTED. To-morrow will see the conclusion of the third round in t'he South Taranaki •senior A grade competition. One A grade match will be played' at Hawera—that between Old Boys and Hawera. Old Boys have gone under to Hawera in each of the two matches played this season. The other A grade matches to-morrow will be played between Ivaponga. and Power Board at Kaponga and Patea and Stratford' at Pa tea. In the B grade, two matches will take place at King Edward Park. Old Collegians will meet Hawera Technical High School and Old Boys will try conclusions with Stratford Technical High School who are playing their first match since the school holidays, during which period they forfeited all fixtures. Hawera will journey to Stratford, while Manaia will meet Opunake at Opunake. The following teams have been selected to take part in competition games : Old Boys B.—Walker, Hayman, Hammond, Dowdle, Evans. Denholm. Cairncross, Kelpe, Ogden, Stevens and La room. Hawera B.—Tvibblewhite, Stevens, Hunter, Cockerill, Longstaff, MeFadyen, Fairweather. Lobhan, Greenhill, Edwards and Jackson. Cars leave P.O. 1 p.m.
