MASONIC HALL RAIDED

HOLD-UP BY MASKED MEN DINNER PARTY BROKEN UP (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). DUBLIN, Jan. 20. Twelve armed men raided the Masonic hall at Cork before the annual dinner of the Freemasons lodge began and ordered 70 to 80 guests to stand against the wall. The tables were overturned, the crockery smashed, the food scattered and the furniture broken. Seven shots were fired in the air as the raiders, whose only object apparently was to prevent the holding of the dinner, departed.
