DEATH ON SPORTS GROUND

COLLAPSE OF 13-YEAR-OLD BOY. EVIDENCE AT INQUEST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) MARTON, To-day. At the inquest to-day into the death of Noel Haimvorth, aged 13, who collapsed while running at Tuesday night’s sports in Marten the coroner (Mr F. C. Wilson) presided. Evidence was given by the boy’s mother that he suffered internal troubles at birth blit appeared to be. growing stronger. She dkl not want him to compete at the sports and received a shock to see ambulance men attending him. Artificial respiration was not successful and life was found to be extinct on the arrival of the doctor.

Medical evidence was given by Dr R. A. Church that tho lad had been affected by congenital weakness ol' the heart.

The coroner returned a verdict accordingly and complimented club officials on the conduct of the meeting.
