WOMEN’S CLUB
Last Friday afternoon a number of enthusiastic members of the Garden Circle of the Women’s Club motored to “Brent Knoll,” Scott .Road, where they were entertained by Airs C, H. AVasher. The hostess received her guests wearing a fashionably cut frock of crepe volga in shades of scarlet and black on a white ground. Tea was served in the garden, where Airs Washer was assisted by her sister, Miss J. AlacDonald, whose smart frock was of black silk Ottoman crepe with a neck bow of black and white, and Aliss Alolly Washer, who chose a neat frock of royal blue and white pattern ed moss crepe. The guests wandered through the lovely garden and .nany useful gardening hints were much np preciated. Those present inelucded Alesdames A. EVans, H. G. Whitehead, Dakin, M. R. Jones, J. S. Young, S. R. Veitch, W. Adams, W. G. Strange, F. C. Livingston, R. Wylie, H. T. Lovell, E. Evans, J. El. Campbell, G Owen, Guthrie, J. B. Alurdoch, A Hunter, W. AlcL’Dowie; Alisses Buchanan, AI. Crabb, M.
