BROADCAST INTERRUPTED

INTERJECTION IN AUDIENCE. PROGRAMME FADED OUT. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). LONDON, Dec. 8. While Flotsam and Jetsam were broadcasting a turn, a voice was heard shouting something like, “What about Spanish workers.” The programme immediately faded out. When the broadcast resumed Flotsam and Jetsam were singing another song. It appears that the broadcast was arranged before an audience. A man rose and shouted, “Solidarity for Spanish workers. Send a food ship to Spain and build a united front against Fascism and war.” The man immediately departed. ’ He gave his name to police who interviewed him outside.
