HAWERA DEFEAT NOLANTOWN.
In a “friendly" cricket match between the Hawera Wednesday club and Nolaiitown at Hawera (yesterday, Hawera were the winners by a. margin of 17 runs on the first innings. Hawera batted first and made S 3 (Pritchard 21, Gray 11, extras 20). Kennedy took five wickets at a cost of five runs apiece. Nolaiitown replied witfi (Kennedy 1(5, England 12). Pritchard took fhreo for 10 and Fairweather three for 18. In a second innings Hawera had lost five wickets for 49, when stumps were drawn.
