HAWERA CHURCH SERVICES

METHODIST A YNIVERSARiY. The fiifty-eighth anniversary of the Hawera Methodist Church, Regent Street, Hawera, will be celebrated with special services to-morrow. The .subjects will be “A Happy Church” and Christian Citizenship.” The- morning anthem will be “Rend Your Heart” (Hawltes) with Mrs G. Tozer as soloist. In. the evening the choir will sing “Lift Up Your Heads” (Ashford), soloist Miss Winnie Mills, and “Send Out Thy Light” (Gounod). Officers and members of the Masonic Lodges .will take part in the evening service. The Rev. Basil Metson will be the preacher morning and evening. Visitors and friends are cordially invited to these celebrations.

BAPTIST CHURCH. The usual services will be held tomorrow in the Hawera Baptist Church, Argyle Street. The morning service at 11 and the evening at 7. . The preacher will be the Rev. John Ings. Visitors welcomed.
