(From Our Own Correspondent). A meeting of representatives of the various local institutions was held in the Town Hall supper room on Monday evening, for the purpose of finding ways and means of providing crockery for the supper room. Hi s Worship the Mayor, presided. After much discussion it was decided that eaich. representative present place the matter before their committees and ascertain whether • they would give a donation towards 1 the cost of the crockery and to report to a later meeting. Mr Hamingway said that he would communicate with any local body not represented at the meeting, t The institutions represented were: Croquet Club, Women’is Institute, I Bowling Club, St. George’s Ladies’ Guild, Tennis Club, Hunket Society, Fire Brigade and Football Club.
