German Commercial Debts
Bradford Exporters Dissatisfied with Agreement FURTHER CONFERENCE PROPOSED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received at 12.45 p.m. to-day. LONDON. Aug. 16. Britain has approached the German Government hoping for the earliest discussion on the outstanding German commercial debts of £1,090,000 owing to British firms, chiefly for cotton yarns and coal. The Bradford Exporters Association passed a resolution expressing dissatisfaction with the agreement of August 9 as it does not provide for the payment of these debts.
