DULL WRESTLING
WALKER DEFEATS STENNJNG. i TWO FALLS TO ONE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, Aug. 16. Before a packed, house Carl Sten'ning (South Africa) made his first New Zealand appearance last night, when he met George Walker, who won by two falls to one. The bout was dull generally, with occasional bright passages. Walker secured a fall in the fourth and- sixth rounds with dumps and a body press, and he submitted to an octopus hold in the fifth round. Walker never looked like being beaten.
