INVERGORDON INCIDENT
NAVAL OFFICER’S VIEW TREATMENT OF SCAPEGOAT LONDON, Aug. T. Expresing the belief that nearly all naval officers would support Sir Roger Keyes’ appeal against the Admiralty’s treatment of Vice-Admiral Tomkinson —the scapegoat of The ?Inyergordoni “incident”—the Manchester Guardian quotes a distinguished officer as saying that the inexcusable act which caused tho trouble was the authorities reducing pay without giving the matter proper consideration.
