(United Pree» Association —By ißeetrlo Telegraph Oopyrignt.) i \ Received 2 p.m. to-day. , Ac MELBOURNE, Aug. 15. : The steamer Harmatris called unexpectedly at Portland Harbour out what was intended as a non-stop voyage from Port Kembla to Europe with a full cargo of wheat. After leaving Port Kembla three' stowaways were discovered abbard.p With the present trend in wheat .prices, it was essential that the Harmatris should waste no time. She stopped at Portland, therefore, because only a; Slight deviation from’her course was, necessary and the stowaways landed on the beach in a small boat and left to to their own resources.
