.MEETING OF EXECUTIVE
RESIGNATION OF MR. CORRIGAN At the monthly meeting of the executive of the South Taranaki Winter Show last night a letter was received from Mr J. Ri. Corrigan intimating that he regretted very much that illhealth' would necessitate his resignation from the executive. He added that he was sorry to sever his connec.tioii with the executive and would always be pleased to give it at any tune the benefit of li.is advice, if required. The acting'-chairman (Mr B. C. Bennett) said that all would regret the fact that Mr Corrigan’& health obliged him to retire from public life. He added that Mr Corrigan had given many yeairs of useful work and the best of his ability and experience in the interests of the show. Other members also made appreciative reference to the value of Mr Corrigan’s • work, Mr E. A. Pacey moved, and it was carried, that the resignation be accepted with regret and that appreciation of the great service rendered to the show by Mr 1 Corrigan be placed on record and a letter to this effect be forwarded, cordially appreciating the offer made by Mr Corrigan to help with his advice as in the past.
