KEEN INTEREST IN PARIS BRITISH ENGINEER’S COMMENT (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 30. Great, interest is being taken in the Nen- Zealand gold mining industry abroad, and. at Paris in particular this ,s very striking, according to Mr A. H. Williams, a mining engineer of Lonlon, who- arrived at YVellington by the Maleura. to-day and will spend a month or so in New Zealand. Mr YY r illiams hopes to investigate at first hand the gold mining industry .in the Dominion. He Mill see the Prime Minister and ‘he Minister of Mines in this connection. Interest in New Zealand gold was so strong at Paris that it surpassed that in the YY’est African industry, Mr Williams said in expressing the view that there was a future for gold mining in the Dominion.
