ANNIVERSARY TRAGEDY
THREE WOMEN KILLED ST. LOUIS. April 20. Three women were killed and four others critically injured, when scalding water and steam turned an anniversary dinner into a tragedy at Sedalia (Missouri). Thirty years ago great railway work shops were established in that town and chur.hwomen celebrated the anni versa rv by a banquet. From the workshops steam was taken iu temporary pipes into the church kitchen, ami inO'J men had just started sun|>er when an explosion blew away the temporary pipe fittings, and the roof and walls of . the building collapsed. Twentyfive were taken to hospital.
