HUTT COUNCILLOR KILLED
BICYCLE AND VAN COLLIDE. VICTIM WELL-KNOWN MAN. (By Telegraph— Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 28. As a result of a collision between a motor-van and a bicycle on the Hut! Road about 5.30 this morning, W. T. Cotton, well* known in business and sporting circles in the Hutt Valley for many years, and a borough councillor of Lower Hutt, received injuries from wheih he died in hospital. His bicycle was struck from behind by a Hutt Meat Company van driven bv James Sheridan, Cotton receiving a severe scalp wound and concussion. He died two hours later.
