Todd Arlington) defeated Oppenheimer, 2 and 1. Fifth round: Bentley beat Colonel Moore-Brabazon, 8 up and 6; Lucas, (a schoolboy) beat General Critchtley (French amateur champion), 5 up and 4; T. Thir.sk (Bridlington) beat Frazier 3 up and 1.
