COMMITTEE! FAREWELL SOCIAL AND PRESENTATION. A farewell social and presentation to Miss N. Smaile by members of the Turutura Tennis Club took place ai the home of Mr. and Mrs J. Lipping well, Waihi Road, Hawera, last Friday evening. The time passed ver.. pleasantly with dancing, games anc competitions, and during the evening Mr A. Miss Smaile thanked the member; for their kindness and said that she much appreciated the gift. Mr. Reid thanked Mr and Mrs Lippingwell for the use of their homo for the occasion. Arrangements have been made by the committee of the Turuturn Tennis Club to open its 1033-34 season next Wednesday afternoon.
