Third Afternoon Attractions ATTRACTIVE RING EVENTS POPULARITY SUSTAINED. There was again a, good attendance of the public at the Hawera showground this afternoon, when a special programme of events was presented, including folk dancing and rythmic exercises by girl pupils of the Hawera Technical School, and Maori entertainment and novelty ring events'. The main stand was filled to capacity, while some hundreds of spectators lined the ring. Judging in the hoys and girls’ calf championships was completed shortly after mid-day, results, additional to those published on page 6, being as follow: CHAMPIONSHIPS.
