WANGANUI SUPREME COURT
GAOL FOR INDECENT ASSAULT. (By Xelegr.-itm—Press Associations WANGANUI, Nov. 8. In the Supreme Court to-day Mr Justice Reed .sentenced John Lister to two years’ hard labour for indecent assault on a, Maori girl three years of age. Harold Peace White, on four charges of forgery and two of obtaining money under false pretences while postmaster at Pipiriki, was admitted to probation for two years and ordered to pay the costs, of the prosecution.
