Yorkshire was particularly active in a brisk market at the wool sales today, when full clearances were effected at the improved values reported yesterday. _ Prices for best fleece lines and skirtings frequently showed a hardening tendency. Comebacks and crossbreds were again dearer, being 7\ per cent above last week’s rates. Greasy Merino made 26/1 a lb for six bales from Yass. Four bales from Barraba of comeback made the record price of 23/ and a crossbred record nrice of 22/1 was made for lines from Yass.
