A foiling off in the number of unemployed men engaged on the relief works of the Mastorton County Council was recorded in the past tliree months. In the last two months there bas been a. drop of over 50 men. The Ma sterton labour bureau also reports an inclination for unemployed registrar tions to fall away. The trend of discussion at to-day’s meeting of the County Council was that a continuing drop in the number of unemployed engaged by the county •ould he exported, and the councillors urged the completion of unemployed relief works in progress so that they would not be left with half-finished jobs oil their bands.
