STORM DELAYS VESSEL 'By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 6. A gale that swept Auckland this morning caused considerable damage to gardens and orchards. The wind abated toward mid'-day and conditions in the afternoon were much improved. The gale was experienced also on the west coast and continued until the evening. The weather was rough at sea and the .steamer Kia Ora, which was due at noon to-day from Wellington, did not arrive until this evening, having met a .storm in the Bay of Plenty.
