MOTOR CYCLE RIDER’S FATE
KILLED IN COLLISION. SMASH INTO SIDE OF LORRY. 'By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Nov. 6. A collision in which Raymond Harold Petersen, aged 24, single, Hastings, was killed and A\ llliam John Forrest, single, also of Hastings, was seriously injured, occurred at Hastings on Saturday evening. Air Petersen was driving a. motor cycle with Air Forrest as the pillion passenger. The cycle ran into the left side of a lorry driven by Tiki Fraser, cairier. Hastings. . Mr Petersen died 10 minutes later. Air Forrest, who is now a patient in the Hastings hospital, was reported this morning to be in a satisfactory condition. The men were returning from the Palmerston North show, at which All* Forrest had been exhibiting a model destroyer made by him.
