SYDNEY, NoV. 7. Officials of the State Australian Labour Party are making efforts to obtain a recount of votes cast in the ballot for the election of the first fifteen members of the new Upper House. The returning officer, Mr Calvert, has announced he will make the declaration in the morning. According to Mr Graves, the general secretary of the Australian Labour Party, application may be made to the Equity Court for an order restraining Mr Calvert until a recount is made.
