ORDER FOR DEPORTATION
STOWAWAY FROM SYDNEY
PROHIBITED IMMIGRANT
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 6. An order for the deportation of Frederick Irvine, aged -32, a chemist, was made in the Magistrate’s Court today, when he was charged with stowing away on the Maunganui from Sydney and being a prohibited immigrant. The police said he arrived with only a penny in his possession. He gave a false name to the police, but fingerprints disclosed that lie had committed a number of offences in Australia. He wa.s discharged from the Geelong gaol on January 7 of this year.
