DRIVE FOR £SOOO
TOTAL TO-DAY BEACHES £2BOO.
At noon to-day the Egmont A. and P. Ground Fund had reached £2BOO, an addition £IOO being received since yesterday. Arrangements have been made for broadcasting the progress of the drive by loud-speaker at the ‘ showgrounds to-morrow, when it is hoped that the committee will be able to announce 'the attainment of the £3OOO mark.
